ČKD 1543/1931

The steam locomotive was built in 1931 in ČKD Praha (factory type 760/90). On 15 August 1931 she was delivered to the Orava Compossessorate on the Podbiel Logging Railway (PLR), where she was put to police examination in the division Podbiel – Habovka on 17 September 1931, reaching the maximum velocity of 37 kmph. In 1934, the LR Podbiel was afflicted by disastrous floods after which it was no longer reconstructed and the engines and the rolling stock were transferred to the OLR. The engine operated here as No 5 until 19 July 1966, when she was liquidated after an explosion of the boiler.
